Description

The Forsthoff Oval-Q is a handy and modern hot air gun used as a professional tool for welding, machining, shrinking and forming a wide range of thermoplastics.

The easy-to-clean, visually attractive air filters enhance the practical and robust design. Like all Forsthoff handheld welding machines, this newly developed model is equipped with a powerful German motor. The twin turbine system generates a powerful air output of 280 litres per minute. The ergonomic and slim handle completes the thoughtful design and enables long and effortless professional work.

The Oval-Q is the successor to the Tube-Q hot air gun and was developed as a powerful, universal welding tool for machining all thermoplastics.

It has a heating power of 1500 W at 230 V, and features reliable and precise control electronics for temperatures up to 700 °C. The Oval-Q only needs to replace its carbon brushes after 1500 hours of use. These feature a switch-off mechanism that prevents motor damage when the brushes are worn out. Moreover, the carbon brushes can be replaced several times.

The main nozzle is compatible with a wide range of attachments. This makes the Oval-Q usable as a powerful and versatile hot-air welder for applications such as welding thermoplastics, technical textiles, tarpaulins, banners, pond liner, roofing and swimming pool liner. In addition, the unit is suitable for activating, heating, deforming and shrinking various thermoplastic materials.
